Stay at the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando, Florida.

I recently took a short trip to Florida. I'm posting a review of this property to give you a glimpse into what you are likely to expect if you decide to visit the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando, Florida. I've stayed at this resort twice. The first time in June and again in September 2020. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The resort is operating at about 40% capacity because of the Coronavirus pandemic. In addition to the peacefulness of not many people around, more amenities have become available in September. The main pool is open (with large outdoor Jumbotron TV), gym, grocery market, poolside bar and a limited restaurant. What I like most about this resort is the location, which is 10 minutes or less car ride to Sea World and other attractions. It's perfect for morning and nightly walks with plenty scenes of nature (i.e., lizards). There is a bridge that cuts across the lake for quick access to the main building where the gym is located. This is nice so that you don't have to walk around the whole property, drive or take a golf cart everywhere. In addition to educating customers about the extent of cleaning the rooms, there are signs throughout the property to remind visitors to wear face coverings. As always, the rooms were very clean and our 2-bedroom accommodation was the right size for our family.

Service animals perform many different functions, each of which is critically important to their owners. Some dogs work with blind owners to guide them when they’re out in public, while other dogs are trained to recognize specific events such as seizures or when their owner’s blood sugar gets too low. Emotional support animals provide comfort to their owners, but under The Americans with Disabilities Act, only dogs trained to perform a specific job or task are afforded the rights of being a service animal. Visit the ADA website for more information about requirements. While service animals enable their owners to live life to the fullest, it can be tricky to travel with a service animal in tow. To help make travel as seamless as possible, we’ve compiled a guide to stress-free travel with your service animal.

Traveling can be a wonderful experience for families. Exploring new sites, immersing yourself in local culture, and trying new things can be an exciting way to get everyone out of their comfort zone and see the world.
